Dan Bliss

Dan Bliss is a guitarist with many years experience performing and teaching. He has worked as a solo acoustic act, toured with KELLEY HUNT, fronted his own band BLUETONIUM and played regular guitar duo gigs with his long time teacher ROD FLEEMAN. He has has twice made the top three in the Walnut Valley Festival’s International Fingerstyle Guitar Championship. Dan enjoys working with beginning to advanced students of all ages.

Rick Bacus

Brief background info: 
Rick Bacus is a multi-instrumentalist / vocalist and has been actively involved with music for many years. With extensive experience as a performer and session musician. Rick has worked with students of all ages, mentoring and teaching guitar, bass guitar, ukulele as well as  working with various beginning rock bands to help them explore what it might take to be a musician, learn more about the tools they use to make music and how to successfully work with others in this business.
Rick is a graduate of Baker University where he earned a Bachelor of Music Education degree.


Rick Bacus is a two time inductee into the Kansas Music Hall of Fame
2012 – Columbia Records / CBS recording artists “Morningstar”   2 albums
2017 – As the bassist for local KC trio “Stone Wall”
Rick teaches on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Jamie Anderson

Jamie has played guitar since 2003, and has studied with Kansas City’s best: jazz guitarists Rod Fleeman, Danny Embry, and Jay Eudaly, classical guitarists Douglas Neidt, Jim Mair, and Ron Stinson. He attended Johnson County Community College and graduated with honors from Kansas City Kansas Community College. Jamie performed in the pit band at the Tivoli Music Hall for 2 seasons as well as the country show, Made in America, at Worlds of Fun. He has participated in several music ensembles such as Big Band, Latin Band, and Jazz Choir at JCCC and KCCC. Jamie has played regularly with his group 3 Son Green since 2004, including writing and arranging.

Daniel Sciara

Daniel is a UMKC graduate with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music. He has studied under some of the best guitar instructors in the area. Daniel is great with students of any level, beginner to advanced ranging in styles from rock, blues, classical, jazz, and more. Whatever your age or level, Daniel will develop and implement a personalized plan for you.

Daniel is also fluent in Spanish, both written and spoken.
